Hey guys, sorry for the silly question and if there is a link already for this I couldn't find it, but does any other A/C systems fit a Sierra? Looking for a Sierra right now and most don't have A/C so I want to fit it as soon as I can but from what I've seen most didn't come one. Do I need to buy everything from a compressor, evaporator, condenser, hoses, heater core, switches and the pipe work for the vents? Any advice would be appreciated.

Short answer, yes, you need everything from a Sierra A/C unit.
Long answer, with time, patience, and an understanding of all the parts involved, I'm sure you could mix and match the condenser, TX valve, hoses, compressor etc from something else (like a vitara or Baleno, but you'll still need the evaporator, it's housing and some of the loom from a Sierra.
There's no need for pipework for the vents - the A/C unit is independent of them.

Might be easier to buy a Sierra with factory air con already in it. They do pop up here and there!! Keep a look out, if you spot a suitable one it might save you a lot of effort

Sierra evap unit pipes are diff size to baleno stuff. Baleno stuff will struggle to fit in a sierra. The orientation of things makes it more difficult too.
Older vit stuff fits the sierra piping etc and the layout is correct, but it's a little large and will take some effort to fit. Newer vit stuff will have different diam piping, unsure about the layout.
Pretty sure the piping size change is due to the change in refrigerant used.
