So I'm doing it. I hope you can support me in this learning experience.
I'll be watching lots of you tube and reading the workshop manual a well as asking for help here. I'll post progress so hopefully other can learn.

The motor is a 240k 2l. Looking for a fresh build to replace my 270k motor which is using oil. I have a spare head so plenty of parts for that.

So far I've have removed the sump and rocker cover and no surprises.

Next I think is to remove the head, pistons and rods, split the block, then send it for testing, cleaning and measuring/ hoaning if needed.
