Got some rear springs kicking around and was thinking about putting them under the front of the zook. I was going to do a chassis extension, but have read about people putting them on with just 2" shackles. This would probably give more droop too, so could be a good thing. What's the best way to go? |

I did it years ago with a longer shackle and redrilling the fixed mount so the diff stayed more or less where it used to be, might not of been as good as it could but worked well enough for me casper has the rear mounts of an LJ on his, they are offset a bit so like a chassis extension but stock looking I think a combination of the 2 would allow a stock shackle and good flex without it looking too nasty |

I've moved my bumper in closer to the body so I think if I move the shackle hangers forward it's going to look out of place. I'm thinking of doing what you mentioned Royce, redrilling the spring mount hole back a little, and using a slightly longer shackle. Then to move the axle forward a little will drill a new hole on the perch and spring plate. Should work the same and improve the approach angle slightly. More importantly it will look more stock. |

thats how im hoping to do mine as i don't want a big shackle extension. i want it to look as stock as it can |
