Hi All, I started the car tonight and it started hunting and carrying on. So I turnbed it off and then back on and now its fine. It has logged an error code tho, as the check engine light is staying on. Does anyone have a scantool that can read my ECU? Its a series 1 swift sport. 09/06. I plan on taling it to suzuki as its under warranty still, I just need to know if its urgent or not. Cheers Peter |

Check engine light has now cleared itself?????? I drove it home (50 mins) and it was on SOLID!. Turned car on and off at lights etc as I made the journey with no change. I just went to chermside ( I know, what a fucktard!!) for xmas shopping and it was on all the way there. I returned to the car and started it, and light is now off. It still comes on for a few seconds after starting then clears as normal. WFT is going on? I thought the light stayed on until it was cleared with a scan tool?? Pete |

the light might not be on, but any errors should still be logged in there |

when the light turns off the fault becomes an inactive code, there will still be a record of the code in the Ecu that will need clearing |
