Post subject:  Fuel sender/gauge calibration...

Hi,

I installed a new fuel sender a few weeks back and notice that when it registers empty, or close to, it still has 10L in the tank. Is there a way to calibrate the sender/gauge?

does it read full when its full ?

how do you know there is 10 litres in it , if there is a dent in the tank and reads empty and it takes 28 litres to fill it its possible your tank isnt holding full capacity ? also you said close to empty close to empty could be 5 litres...

No dents in the tank...I filled it close to empty to see how much was left. I might run it right down to empty and see how it goes....
