got oil coming out of a blanked off tube on the side of the fuel pump, should this line be blanked off or should it go somewhere and why is it leaking oil

I do believe that is a sign that the fuel pump is on the way out.

id just replace it with another mechanical they are reliable

it's stuffed !!! change it ASAP

or you will end up with a engine sump full of petrol and that ends with a nasty bang !!!!!

change your oil after as well

Yeh get another mechanical pump, they are pretty basic and reliable.

I saw one on ebay from the suzistore. What are they like to get parts from?

Just went to the suzuki dealer to get a pump and they said you cant get factory pumps anymore. Anyone know where to get one or what after market ones are any good.
