Replacing rear wheel bearings on my car, just looking on ebay, one set has bearing spacers, the other one doesnt. Do I need them or are the bearing spacers for a differnt model or something? (I have a 85 drover). Cheers

you can reuse your old spacers.

i would go down to your local bearing place first and get a price off them for the retainer ring and bearing. might find it will be cheaper than ebay and you will have them straight away and be able to return them if they are wrong.

dont let them give you vitara bearings though. they need to be 72mm OD from memory.

Yours is a NT and uses a standard bearing with a spacer.

when they change to WT the bearings change to a raised inner race and you dont need a spacer anymore. the problem is the WT bearings are about $30 more each.

hey mate,

is yours a WT or NT, WT have the spacer built in, NT have the spacer that you reuse.

i can supply either and send them on whatever freight suits you.

WT bearing set - $50 inc a side
NT bearing set - $38 inc a side.
i can freight anywhere in aus in a airbag for $15.00

cheers weaves
