If you're using the stock shaft, then no, don't change the angle as the uni's need to be parallel to work properly. |

you dont want to rotate the front diff unless you are going to cut and rotate the knucles as you will muck up the castor and it will drive like even more of a pig when you get it going. |

ah k thanks for that fellas so if the angles on my unis is to great best way to fix that would be to lower the transfer case? |

unless you have lots of lift i wouldent worry about it. i had 100mm lift in a swb and the shaft angle was fine a lwb has a longer shaft and can handle a lot more lift. ya just need to watch the slip joint, both my tail shafts have spacers on them. |

my 3/4 eats uni's like theres no tommoro, i have recently had some shims fitted between the leafs and the diff to correct the pinion angle a bit as it was way out with 2" springs and shackles, dont ask me why. Havent done another rear uni since. Feel free to pop in have a squiz if you need any help with it. |

ok thanks charcoal think iv opend up a can-o-worms hahaha Mr rocky i hear ya he is a bit of a doosh. that tray is yours for the price of taking it out of my front yard. its in really bad condition tho like rusted through at the front and cam took to it with an angle grinder to get it off the chassis it might be worth you looking at it first but ya can have it if ya want it. Cam may even take it over to ya if he borrows my ute and comes out to check out ya 3/4 setup. id just send him a pm or an email to team-whysoserious-racing@mothfukle-engineering.com about it to sort it out. ill let him know what i told you. what suburb you live in in perth? |
