G'day Guys
Thought I would ask about a bullbar and a snorkel for my 97 coily sierra. From what i have read in other posts and forums no specific business makes bullbars for coilys anymore. I understand TJM used to but not anymore. My question is if anyone knows anyone who is keen on parting with one, or recommend a good fabricator who has experience creating these things?
The same with the snorkel really, I would prefer to purchase a manufactured one, but am unable to find anyone that does them specific for coilys.
Any help would be great.
Cheers.

They will...but you will have to relocate your indicator because that is where they go through the guard

ah that blows about moving the indicator, really didnt want to worry about that. Will have to think about if I want a custom one or not.
Lets rally together and get these bars made.

I am pretty keen on finding someone to fab up a front bar who has experience doing it. Or mull around the forums or wreckers until a second hand one comes up for sale, but i dont like my chances.

ah yeah been pouring over the internet for the past few days, gathering info, no one does a bar for the coily aye, so
Is anyone here keen to fabricate a coily bullbar up who has experience?
if not:
how well will the standard arb sierra bullbar fit on the coily if i get body lift?
also how difficult is it to move an indicator if i get a standard snorkel on the coily.
and who on here should i ask about custom snorkels?

A custom snorkel will be a lot cheaper then anything from arb etc. make something up with pvc pipe first then take it to an exhaust shop and have it made from exhaust pipe.
An arb bar will fit on a coily, the chassis mounts are the same. With a body lift you will need to modify the mounting points so it will be at the right level. If you plan to run bigger tyres then 28" you will need to cut off the out riggers to clear.

Thanks for the help guys,
after a lot of calling around and talking to alot of bullbar and 4x4 specialists I have decided to go with either a black powdercoated bullbar from scorpion offroad in albion in brisbane or the black t51 bullbar available from formula off road, down in sydey. both offer pretty similar pricing (just over the 1000 dollar mark and have a very good reputation.
thought?

For $1000 you could get a front bar and snorkel made with enough change to fill the fuel tank 5 times over. Depends what you like though. At the end of the day its your car and your personal preference buddy. Hope that helps. I just can't justify spending that much on a bar.

yeah rusho fair call mate,
Can you recommend anywhere in Bris that would make up custom bars? Some of the quotes I got over the phone were so ridiculous I laughed at the people over the phone and said how can you justify that. I am still leaving my options open i guess, im just saying these were the two best options that i might opt for.

FATZOOK on here does them, he's a qualified boiler maker or welderer or something thats usefull in making bull bars and trailers and other stuff he has mentioned on here, and I'm sure he is open to design input and able to make it to what you want
just pm him and ask, all he can say is yes or no (or fark off) but I'm fairly sure it'll be yes as he started a thread looking for custom suzuki fabricating work.

Yeah she's apples now... Just need someone to give it a
half decent paint job, I don't have a compressor so I can't do it.
You finished fixing the rust in Buttercup yet?

 no.
Smart ass
I have a custom bar here, it's ugly tho, was thinking of cutting it up for the 40nb main & welding new bracket's to it.
