Post subject:  Which Clutch is right for me?

Well today i went to supercheap auto and was shocked at how cheap i new clutch is going to be. So i have one problem

Is the clutch i need to get, have to have self aligning bearings?

these are the part numbers i have
SZK-6948 standard (self aligning bearing) $138
SZK-6332 Standard $115

SZK-6948HD Heavy Duty (self aligning bearing) $165
SZK-6332HD Heavy Duty $227

So any help?

1st up I dont think they are Daikin (Exedy) numbers so steer clear, other brands slip or give a very heavy pedal that snaps cables and arms

do you have a 4 speed? if so should be non self aligning, and go for the heavy duty if you plan on fitting bigger tires without a rockhopper

yeah i have the 4 speed. might check on the brand name some time during the week. and ask around for more prices.

I have had a look. I dont think it comes apart. They are not much alike. And on the box that the wrong one came it it says Release Bearing.
