As of yesterday my 2' efs lift kit is on, Definately no comlplaints tiny bit stiff but there brand new and rides alot better then my old coily on the road.... cant comment on any of the others.

i have OME and i love them. Soft and flexy. i have also heard good things about EFS but never used them in a zook. i have also heard that iron man are very stiff, but again never used them in a zook. weaves. |

I have lovells and i think they are fantastic... Perfectly soft and flexy straight off the shelf - no need to pul leaves or anything like that... I'd certainly buy them again! |

These are also pretty good in a go-kart! The examples Ive found have been stiff as!! Defiantly need leaf removal. I'm running an OME light duty pack in the soft top although I still removed a few rear leafs because of a crazy shackle angle. Same springs in my old hardtop never had to touch a thing, traveled to the stops and handled well. Dan |

People say kings are to stiff but don't realise there are 3 variations to choose from off the shelf and if they are not exactly what you want they will vary sets to suit your requirements, make sure you get the right ones and they will be fine. |

OME no question. Got the heavy duty rears in my LWB. Left 6 leaves in drivers side and took one out on passenger side to try counter sierra lean. For heavy duty springs they ride very nicely  They are also relatively cheap at what, about $120 a spring?
My preference would be to put another pair up front to have them on all four corners. Judging by the poll results its looking pretty obvious I'd say

The problem with some after market springs is that they are curved up for lift but they don't make em any longer so you end up with shit shackle angle. The spring on my ute when I got it had a sticker "SUZ-020 GRP ULTRA HIGH" Rock hard You could jump up and down on one corner of the bar and it would only move 10 mm shackle angle straight up and down or slightly back not forward.. Looking at getting longer main leaves made up for the back to fix the shackle angle |

My father got custom leaves done for the front of his Hilux from Carrolls at Wacol in western Brisbane (an EFS dealer) (they weren't really much longer, but customised axle position, spring rate etc). Think it came to just over $200 a spring. Not a bad price really when you consider they are making a custom spring (one or 2 of) for you, and not a mass production run. I just swapped out some 2" lifted OME rears for some EFS 2" lifted EFS rears (I put the OME's in my LJ, as it needs stupidly light springs). I did take one leaf from the EFS packs to make them only slightly stiffer than the OME's. Beside the fact that the back of my car is now like 3km high, the EFS are fine, ride just as well, but take a load (rear passengers) allot better. The EFS are also a notably longer main than the OME's. Price difference between all the brands these days seems negligable, and even though they are slightly cheaper, I would never buy OME again, they are just too weak for a Sierra that is putting out lots of extra torque at the axle, and getting used offroad. |
