have you driven on the mt 117 extreme. i only want to know as i want to get some, however i was told they are hard to get balanced and they are not good at all on the road any info on them would be good |

They don't drive on road basically. |

They can be balanced and road driveable. Don't listen to the stories from people that haven't owned them. These tyres are popular with many people on this forum and a proven performer. |

I haven't driven on them, but don't really care, cus they will be going on bead locked rim's. |

Yep own a set...... But they are great value offroad tyre...... But are definitely not a good or even average road tyre. Absolutely miles away from a normal muddy, but that's what the mt sport is for.. |

They are Bias ply and as such not as well suited to road use as radial tyres. Your spare will also need to be bias ply, as it is a legal requirement that if you run bias ply tyres, that ALL tyres on the vehicle must be of the same construction. |
