A WT radiator will fit in a coily - but you will need to fix your fan shroud on with cable ties as the holes are in a slightly different position. The drain tap is also in a slightly different position so you need to cut the shroud around this also. I know the mounting rails are different also but I can't remember if new holes are required. I have a WT radiator in one of my coilies.

Old Thread that came up in a search,does anyone know the best place to pick up a Radiator for a Coily...

Don't forget to disconnect that before going into deep puddles.. The water pushed the blades against the radiator and damages all the fins and sometimes blades snap off ....

I was told the Ebay ones can be made to fit but don't have the bolt holes for the fan shroud,not sure if thats correct thou.

If I had a thermo off switch (or a thermo full stop) I'd also have a coolant temperature alarm, which is something I'd have on most 4wds anyway.

Yeah i got one when i did the 1.6 conversion, from memory on one side a lip need to be cut from the shroud then one side will bolt up and i used zipties on the other side to get it back on the road however the zipties are still there 5 months later :lol:

No, the shroud is absolutely necessary for correct cooling. The fan and radiator can't work without it.

Ok,Thanks again,i'll find a way to get it mounted,perhaps the earlier shrouds will fit and clear the Coily fan.
