I have recently completed my latest camper trailer project and now it's time for someone else to enjoy this original compact trailer that started it all.

This trailer was professionally designed from the ground up to suit our Jimny, all of the fabrication was completed by a qualified boilermaker and everything has been refined over the years to take advantage of every millimeter of space.
The tare weight as it sits now (with lid and drawers) is still under 250kg and with an ATM of 750kg, that's a whole lot of camping gear that you can pack in here.

The frame is all 40x40 SHS sections with a 65x65 SHS duragal drawbar and the body panels are all 1.6mm duragal sheet.
The whole trailer has just been resprayed inside and out with quality epoxy paint and presents as new.

The solid axle is a custom length to match a Jimny or Sierra track width. Making it perfect for towing on soft sand or muddy tracks. 8)
It has had 10 inch electric brakes fitted for safety and the hubs for the brakes where a special order at the time to get drilled with the Suzuki stud pattern.
The wiring for the brakes and the hubs come with the trailer, but not the backing plates.
I will also throw in the standard lazy hubs with Suzuki stud pattern and a spare set of new Japanese bearings.

The suspension is quality Australian made, eye to eye springs and genuine Suzuki Jimny shocks (your camping gear will have a smoother ride then you if you're touring around in a Sierra).
It's currently rolling on a set of 30x9.5r15 tyres fitted to old school Jimny 3 spoke alloy rims.
Hitching up to your vehicle is a 360 degree Orac style off road coupling.

Fitted on the drawbar is a custom made tray that neatly fits 3 jerry cans as shown in the photos, but the jerry cans are not included with the trailer.
However, the axe and shovel on the front panel in these photos do come with the trailer. :D
The mounts for these were made specially for these items, so rather then you having to go and find something else that fits, I'll leave them on there for you.

The lid is a strong RHS steel frame with supports placed directly under the roof racks (no worries about supporting your roof top tent if you choose to fit one) and enclosed with alloy sheeting and rubber seals.
The gas strut will assist opening the lid with even the heaviest load on top, but it can still be closed with nothing on there.

Inside is fitted out with one main storage compartment for batteries (I ran 2x 105 Amp/hr AGM batteries) and heaps of space for your tools, spares, first aid kit, camp oven, cooking gear and what ever else you need to squeeze in there.
There is also a full length slide out drawer, with the rear section used as pantry and the front section has 2 pull out drawers for your plates, cutlery and extra food stuff (we used to pack all of the canned food and cooking spices in there).
The 2 burner gas cooker shown in these photos also comes with the trailer. Again the space and mounts were made to suit this unit, so I'll throw it in with the deal as well.
All internal timbers are marine ply and have just been freshly sanded back and oiled for many more years of protection.

On top of the main storage compartment and the rear section of the slide out drawer is removable timber covers that create a second level of storage.
This second level fits one of these green plastic lifetime tables (or a folding camp kitchen) as well as 4 normal folding chairs. The slide out pantry and drawers lets you access your food, cutlery and cooker without having to unpack everything else.
There are holders along each side for tarp poles. These 6 custom length poles and single spreader bar will also come with the trailer.

The interior is also wired up for all of your 12v needs.
There is mounting space with tiedown points for 2 full sized batteries, LED strip lighting, voltage meter, isolators, 20A circuit breaker and outlets with cigarette and Anderson plugs.
Also included is a 110w water proof solar controller, wired with anderson plug inlet at the front of the trailer and it's own isolator.
You can isolate the solar and lights/power outlets separately so you can use the solar to keep your batteries topped up when not in use, but don't have to worry about anything draining the batteries when the sun's not out.

The trailer will also come with a luggage pod and flexible 100w solar panel as a removable set.
This pod can be mounted on the roof racks or directly onto the lid as shown in some of the older photos below.

This has been an amazing little trailer for us, all of the modifications have been gradual improvements and it's now pretty much perfect for compact tent based campers.
We've towed it all through western Queensland, down to do a lap of Tasmania, all over New South Wales and around the VIC high country.
It has always been meticulously maintained and has never let us down.

Asking $2,350.00 with all items included as listed above and 6 months rego.
Located on the Sunshine Coast, but could possibly help with delivering to just over the border or a few hours north if you don't want to mess me around with haggling prices....

Trailer has been picked up by the new owners and will be on it's way to live in Melbourne pretty soon.
