yeah i think the ones with out the switch have different spines on the shafts so u cant change the flanges and run diferent drive shafts but i could b wrong |

You are corretc. They actually have smaller shafts, and splines, so you cannot do anything with them except bolt them into a 1 litre sierra. |

I'll go to the shed & find out.. 5 min's with a drill & thay would bolt straight on, the 1lt is just a lil bit smaller but by bugger all. |

It's just I got a 1lt T/case here that I got real cheap (It has no 4wd switch) and I was going to put it into my stocka 85 NT 1.3lt 5 speed. I can't see why it won't work? |

i ran a 1ltr case in my WT sierra for about 2 years. and it didnt have the 4x4 switch. all i did was put 1ltr ends on the WT shafts. Its a little bit harder to fit but still fits. B4T |
