I used an Ebay CV a while ago.... It fitted and worked ok... I never broke it before I sold the 22 spline axles.. Trouble with replacing just the cv is getting the old one off the axle without wrecking the spline on the end as the circlip doesn't want to come off and eats the last 5-10mm of axle. If you have already broken a cv I guess you have nothing to lose by trying to remove it BEFORE you buy a new CV. That way if you do strip the axle you'll buy a 2nd hand axle with cv on it already and won't have a new cv sitting there that you can't use. |
