And you're right, coilies mount to the side of the seat frame and are way different to a leafy set up.

Those seats look exactly like some I brought second hand, fitted, drove around the block, removed and sold again.

If you like them great. But most cheap buckets are worse then factory seats.

With the exception of one I've come across - a few years ago Monza sold a fibreglass shell "race" seat that was freakin' awesome. It was a direct copy of an SP-G Recaro and was just brilliant. They weren't on sale for long before they were replaced with something uncomfortable.

Mock had one in the Rodent - his Oz-Rock buggy built in 2005. Haven't seen them since.

these seats arent that bad.They offer good support but are definately not the most comfy seat.You get what you pay for tho i guess.They are great for the zuk due to their ease of fitment and not being crazy wide.

i not long ago fitted em,better than the last race seat i took out of the drivers side i reckon,it was another older autotechnia one

I have a customers car here at the moment with some of these $300 pair of repco seats and they are excrutiating to sit in.

I'd rather fit OEM bucket seats from a jap sports car. They can be much harder to fit, but WELL worth the effort.

i have a really nice set of sparcos waiting to go in mine, so i can highly recommend but a little more pricey than the cheep repco ones

my car had one old race seat in it but was engineered for 2.that was my main reason for slapping the 2 new ones in it last week,just to match the papers.

I finished installing mine today or should I say tried to finish, my passenger seat is too wide and hits on the B pillar. Did anyone else have this trouble? I'm using the standard seat mounts (the passenger side mount tilts forward but does not slide). I ended up cracking the shits and stopping for the day, I might look into getting my original seats re upholstered.

Yeah it always pays to measure the seats up before you buy them.

im pretty sure both seats slightly rub on the b pillar. i dont have them in yet but my mate does

x2 with the rubbing.and my drivers one takes a fair effort to slide but didnt with the standard seat or the last race seat so i have something out of whack there

When I mounted the seat on the drivers side it was hard to slide as well, I thought it must be out of whack and then I put a washer between the seat base and slide rail at each bolt. Now it slides fine. My drivers seat is close to B pillar but does not rub, but my passenger seat definately does rub.
