I run a commodore shock, but can't remember which one... you will need to swap the sleeve over in the bottom bush.

Was just on the phone with a bloke at Fulcrum, I mentioned Commodore shocks. getting a pair tomorrow for $95

Cheap as chips and within dimensions.

up at the local super shit... they have a regular stock and are all of 35-40 bucks each.

Are you chasing more flex?? Best bet is to undo ya current shocks and measure the exact lengths your after. Commodore shocks are apparently the goods though

Has anyone used commodore springs, or are they too short/soft/wrong size??

Also note that your probably going to need extended brake lines.

Rear one supplied with the calmini kit should be fine, the fronts will be borderline.

Mmm, mines close with standard calming rears, thought it'd need to be longer to get full flex out of a commodore shock

Chop; The bloke I bought the Vit off said it was a 2" kit but it turns out to be a 3".

Found out after I posted the 2" comment..

What do you guys run for front shocks? Do commy fronts fit? and do they give the extension needed for a 3" kit like the commy rears?

no, commonwhores are only good for rear shocks... fonts need a Vitara strut, OME, Dobinson or Ironman all do around a 30mm extended strut

I've just unbolted the rear brake lines from the chassis cross member, frees them up enough to cope with the GV TDog travel. Need to find something longer one day though.

Just got a call from Fulcrum, the brake guy is in today, so getting some extended braided lines in the front while it's in for camber/alignment Armsup
