hey all

my front drive shalf is dinding on one side of the yok


as i can the nipple is not touching the yok


not to sure if the angle is right just seem to much to me the way the case sits

can you get some pic's from under the transfer??

It look's like the mount's are either not fitted properly or your mount's are twisted..

Or there is too much lift. Is the vehicle on the groung with its weight on the axles?

yeah he transfer shouldnt be tilted back like that

this is the way its sitting atm. the only other thing i can think of is the shackles are to long

is the front shaft too long? the dust boot appears to be fairly compressed...

no it was going the same before a put the spacer in and ive only just noticed that it is touching the yok

So guys what do u think the mounts are bent on the case or the shackles are to long that's the only thing I can think that is the problem.

Take the front shaft out, see if the transfer's still sitting toward the rear.

Rear shaft too short? (I am not sure if there ia a lock colar on the spline to stop it coming apart) If this is the case then the rear shaft might be pulling the back of the transfer down, and needing spacers to rectify ......

I'll take the shalf out when I get home see if that's the problem. The rear shalf isnt bolted all the way up yet because it came apart on me the other night

Jack shaft (gearbox to transfer) too long???
It appears that something is upsetting the transfer level. With this problem rectified, by appearance, you should get away with your long shackles...... although the angle will still be fairly steep. Bill

Um didn't get anything done on the weekend my brother had his 18th party and Sunday was not a good day lol. I haven't got the jack shalf in ATM.

haha yeh lol. all the shalfs have taken off the case and it is still sitting on the angle. so i have taken the case out to see if the mounts are bent but im not to sure if the are bent. ill taken some photos of the mounts later

The case does seem a little bit too reclined, but the real problem is about 466767" too much lift.

Let me guess: 2" springs, SPOA and 2" shackles. That's 8" of lift.

The front driveshaft on a sierra wasn't designed for 8" of lift.

If you adjust the case to fix the front driveshaft angle, it will make the rear worse, and that's the one that's doing all the work.

i was thinking about taking the shackles out get some smaller ones.

its only spoa and the shackles the springs came with the zook so not to sure what they are they sit pretty flat so i think there stock.

They look a bit taller than stock to me, but in any case the lift is where most of the problem is coming from.
