is there a way you make the low speed ( under 2000 rpm) power steering work better? i have no idea about hydro assisted set ups and it would prob be out of my price range any way

the power steering works well in normal driving but out the weekend a few times it was like i had none and no i wasn't jammed up in a rut or hard on the brakes not moving, yes its full of clean oil

Maybe it's just not working properly?

I have vit power steering on the sierra, 33s on hilux diffs, and it turns easily while stationary at idle.

do they get air bubbles in them or anything like that? most of the time it was at big angles

would upping the line psi make any difference if so how do you do it?

did a little more reading and it could be over heating the oil. any one used one of these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TRANSMISSION ... 2547wt_905

i am going to put a external tranny cooler on it as well. would using the old tranny cooler in the radiator cool it down? what temp do the power steering pumps run at?
