Hi all.
Already have a 2" suspension lift in my 92 LWB vitara.
Want to go another 2" higher as I have 30" tyres that sometime scrub.
Should I go that extra 2" by using a coil spacer or by doing a bodylift?
Price isn't an issue and neither is fitting as I like messing around with my cars.
Just purely want to know which is the better option and the advantages and disadvantages of the two.
Do coil spacers flog out cv's or any other components?
Also, I know that I would lose shock travel with a coil spacer so in that regard, would a bodylift be better?

if money isnt an issue go with a calmini lift then BL if you still have issues

assuming you want to keep your current suspension, body lift is the better option imo.
but remember a body lift only lifts the body to fit bigger tyres, no extra clearance is gained on the chassis. some people prefer to chop the guards over a bl

I think I wouil prefer to to do a bodylift. If you go with a 50mm and a 30mm coil spacer would that create any problems or strain on components?

The cv's would be on a higher angle.

Just put some bump stop extention on and do a bit of hammering
I have 31 with no body lift so 30 would be fine

i have 2 inch leaf lift , and 30's but scrubed on front bar just took it off and hammerd some guards up

The higher you lift the suspension in anything the worse it becomes to drive, that much in a vit its going to wander in the front a bit

30's arent bih either, look at where its scrubbing and see if you can bash it out the way
