i went down to supercrap this arvo to get a new thermostat for the zook well they say there are 2 for the 1.3 sierra 180degree and 192degree

mine is a late 90 delivered 91 sierra 1.3lt

i notice in my repair manual they show starts to open 179 degrees F (82 dg C) fully open 212 degrees F (100 dg C)

would this mean i get the 180 thermostat? i'm confused as to why they have two types? Anyone shed any light on this?
