Ive done my clutch and i wanna know if there are any heavy duty clutchs i can source?

Im running just 33x10.5 and ultraslow transfer case

yeah there is a pink HD clutch, but it breaks clutch cables and it's got a bit of a bad reputation, the stock excedy clutches have worked on my last 2 sierra's.

I cant recall how many times ive had to explain this to people . A HD clutch does not necesarily mean a heavy pedal feel / causing cables to break .
i have used in my own car a range of clutches , everything from a std to a excedy sports tuff (the pink one) and now a NPC custom 1000 lb clamp pressure clutch. pedal feel has been similar with all clutches.

I have also installed a shitload of std clutches and performance clutches in customers cars , and ive never had a overly "heavy" clutch as far as pedal feel.

Yeah not sure why, but I've had 2 sierras that loved breaking clutch cables with the Exedy HD clutch. Think Stekky had dramas too. Great clutch, slightly heavier pedal feel, but just too much for the sierra cable.

Standard exedy is fine unless you are running a turbo or 200HP shot of NOS. :lol:

I agree 100%. They stock Sierra clutch routinely holds up to 1.6 8 valve and 16 valve engines for years.

If you have to have a heavy duty clutch, this is the only one I have seen consistently good reviews about. Over the course of 4 years I have never heard one complaint, but a lot of praise, and good reviews. You wll have to buy it in from the U.S. though.
