hey everyone just about at the end of my conversion of a g16b into my sierra. However I didn't get the wiring to the cluster so from the diagram I had I couldn't quite work it out.
So could someone let me know what colors you come up with for the engine light, vss, tacho, I think that's all I'm after??

when i did mine it was all the same as the sierra colours..ie the temp oil press charge light. vss had to be added

VSS and check eng are usually Violet with yellow trace.

so ive got a plain brown wire in my loom where abouts do you hook it up to the tacho

whait i have found the vss and found how the check engine light is wired in, im mainly after a throttle position sensor number.... mine is rubbed off, if you have all the following can you post a picture of your code please, its really hard to order something new when you have no code all i keep getting in return is that there is a few to choose from
its a 96/97 model engine, mitsubishi computer, three pin MAF meter, 4 pin TPS, 7 pin (i think from memory) distributor this has coil all in one. please help me someone....

If you can get the VIN off the car the eng came out of, a Suzuki dealer "should" be able to help.

Bit of a bump where abouts do u tap the brown tacho wire into from the g16b loom??

Anyone be able to point me in the right direction? I'm confused as to hook it into the cluster loom or behind the actual instrument!

The brown wire from the sierra loom isn't used and runs off the old motor to the instrument cluster and this gives you your tacho, but there is a brown wire in the vitara loom that does the same thing you simply have to cut the old wire to the cluster and join the vitara one.
