VVT gearbox definitely has issues, mainly the rear main bearing, mine at about 50,000 and just out of warranty. My black Jimny box never missed a beat for 165,000 and was still silky. The box I'm running now has at least 150,000 and feels better than the original. We had it repaired with genuine parts for a very princely sum. For sale Monkey. Postage to 6210? Probably less than SuziStore will charge you for a rebuild How much dose the box weigh? I'm not joking....
25kg

Well it turn's out all the gear's in the box are fuked
They said that the box had been running low on oil at some point (not sure when tho ) and all the case harding on the gear's were fuked cus it was running low on oil and the reverse gear had the all teeth stripped of it
So i now have 2 option's...fit another VVT box or fit a non-vvt box, but were are still trying to figure out what the final drive ratio will be with the 31's and the 20% t-case reduction gear's...

FYI, a message in a bottle doesn't work that well when you use the bottles for molotov cocktails.

Not off the top of my head
Do they make adapters for the g13bb motor to Sierra gearbox? Would this be an alterntive? Are Sierra boxes about the same size and length? The jimnys transferase divorced or part of the box?

molitov's are a bit over done, the other option apart from the obvious cement gearbox, do a stealth mission on a garage creeper & drain the sumps/gearboxes of all the cars & 4wd's that you can fit under in the car lot.

Not a option for me....my jimny has a m13a motor so i don't think a sierra box would bolt up, i would of read about it if it was possible i think...
