cheap fix and will tell you how bad the rate on those springs are-
as shep said fit stock shackles again , and get some angle back on the shackles so the springs can start to work correctly

My spine is fine, don't worry, I've been sticking to the bike instead for my daily driver/ hooner. ;)
Ok so options are:
1. Refit the stock shackles to improve shackle angle (does this mean removing the reversal kit? cause that's not gonna happen, welds and all ;))
2. Remove a leaf from the pack to loosen the springs up.
3. Both.

Thanks again for the help!

Stock shackles will do very little to improve that shackle angle considering they are completely vertical now. You need to remove leaves to flatten out the pack to get more shackle angle. And those front (reversed) shackles aren't that long, I have them on my zook.

Thats what I was thinking, the springs will affect the shackle angle more than the length as they are nearly vertical.
The only other way to improve the angle would be to cut and move the shackle mounts (which I could do) but then I suppose the springs will still be too tight regardless.
Will have a look at removing a leaf then - is it safe to remove 2 leaves if necessary (leaving me with only 2 leaves on the spring)?

2 leaves is pushing it I think, you might find that it leans like a bitch when you sit in the drivers seat with only 2 leaves.

Update on this.
Found a guy selling some new shocks that well exceed my current and forseen flex for 400 so will be picking them up around easter time.
Did some proper wheeling the other day and got it to flex alot better (same config, no changes yet) so I will be looking at fitting 32x10.5 Maxxis bighorns if possible and go wheeling again to see if I'm happy with the flex.
In the mean time, I will have a look at options to get a better shackle angle.
