Couldn't find another thread to help me out so i will start another.
So as most do my stock 1.3 sierra Carby has shit it'self and i am going to replace it with something THAT IS NOT another infamously UN-reliable Suzuki carby. I found a Weber carby which was around $600 HOWEVER after some research found out they are all good on road but off road on angles makes the thing play up and not run properly. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if you guys have a performance OR good quality carby to recommend (i am all good to spend a bit of money on a new carby)

hey buddy im going through the same thing atm! Im looking at the 32/36 weber carbie and i have found that there are a few mods that people do that will reduce the likely hood of flooding but i dont think it gets rid of it all together. hopefully a zuke whizz will jump in with there wisdom but for the mean time ill post up some of my findings.

Aisin carbys are one of the best you will come across. For a 20 something year old carby I'd say it's done a pretty fucking great job.
If rebuilt properly it could go for another 20 something years.
If you're going to spend 600 odd on a weber, you may as well consider efi as you're about 3/4 of the way there.

Agree....they piss all over a Weber. Spend half as much to get it rebuilt and you will have trouble free motoring for a long time
