hey guys, i have recently got a 1988 suzuki jimny JA71 turbo import and just need general info on parts and if i can use anything from other models cheers

Hmm, there's not much parts interchangeability. They're sort of a mix of 1.0, 1.3 and unique parts. Axles should be the same as NT diff gears are unique, transfer and gearbox is unique. Chassis is 1.3 with nt spring spacing and 1.0 engine mounts.
