How here has done it? Which model did you use and how is it wired up?

I've done it. used a dizzy from a G13A/B AFIAIK.

Couple of observations - there's no obvious place to tap for manifold vacuum, but this is fairly easily overcome.
I had problems with advance. I don't know if a 1,0 really wants a different advance curve to a 1.3, but I struggled between boggy, doughy behaviour and pinging.

There are companies around that will recurve your distributor to suit the engine.

I wonder if you can combine the two distributers together, take the mechanical weights and the advance bellows off the F10a one and put it on the g13a one?

Persumably you want the g13a one for the electronic insides.

I just teed the vacuum line to the charcoal canister. Works fine in KT

I actually have a f10a mg410 electric dizzy here that should have the correct advance curve
