Hey AZ,

Just thought I would throw it out there,

Does anybody know any specs on the Piranha Offroad Jimny?

More so in particular the suspension and tyre setup?

still has the shaved front diff and my home build rear tail lights.

its running more lift than I did and smaller tires.

Tyres are Federal Couragia M/T 31x10.5R15
Guards are cut to fit, ARB bullbar has been trimmed.
I've lost track of the suspension - I know we recently changed rear shocks, but the new ones are a little stiff. Probably Kings springs but which ones - I'll take a look tomorrow, if I get a chance.
Caster correction of the front diff via 'drop boxes'.
Still gets a wobble up occasionally.
Rebuilt the engine (stock G13BB, with extractors) & had to swap in a rear diff, after the previous one blew - while driving on the road.
ARB air lockers both ends, auxiliary battery system, winch.
Geared Sierra T/case.
My least favourite car to drive of our present & past total of 6 display cars - clutch point is hard to get right when you only drive it occasionally, very little torque, quite buzzy & bouncy.

Perfect, thanks very much Michael.

If you could let me know the amount of lift its running/ coils that would be really appreciated.

Cheers,

Simon

Less is better. When greyghost owned this it ran 32” tyres and no lift. Be like greyghost. Jimnys hate lift.

Details of suspension - It's a bit of a hash up at the minute, as the rear springs are a little harsh & were fitted when we sold the previous Kings that rode better.
Kings do all sorts of weird spring variations that don't appear in their catalogues.
The body is tired & wheel arch openings have been hacked around a bit, which is why I've had to find another reference point to measure ride height from.

Front is Kings Springs SPSF-650/40. Damper is Rancho RS99115. Height is 840mm measured at the bottom of the front guard adjacent to the headlight.
Rear is Tough Dog springs TDC-838L, Damper is Rancho RS99118. Height is 905mm at bottom of taillight adjacent to body.
