Starts, stops, runs fine.

Assuming O2 sensor...

Cant seem to locate the little diagnostic plug to bridge... Did they stop doing this plug in the 2009 model on?

Dont have an OB2 reader... but my local aldi does have a couple from last weeks sale for $49... is it worth buying one?

Yeah that's pretty cheap. Pretty sure any Repco will be able to read it too and tell you what it is for free, decent workshops will too. Let us know how it goes.

I reckon it’s worth having one. Makes diagnostics easy and it’s a good bit of kit to have on long trips IMO. Nothing worse than having a CEL come on Friday arvo in a strange town and having no idea what the drama is!

Oh and I’ve no idea if it’s the same setup with Jimny but here’s an info page for bridging diagnostics on a Baleno. Maybe help, maybe won’t
