Hi guys looking at an issue I have with my Auto when its first start or overnight start of the car the auto feathers from first gear and does nothing, just the engine revs.
But once its warmed up say about 10minutes then it will drive fine and shift into all gears whilst driving.the auto has been serviced new filter and fluid.Ive now rechecked fluid level, engine idling and hot fluid level ok and colour is still nice red.will this issue be the solinoids, as I am looking at a master kit but the solinoids are not part of this kit.
They are about $350 for this kit..

I am new to this auszooks site, many thanks in addvance, Iam located in Melb

Hi Soylu
I had a very similar problem some time ago on a vitara I owned and from memory it was a perished vacuum line that was connected to the transmission. Also it was a bit low on tranny fluid so may have been a combination of the two.
Have a good look underneath and make sure all the lines are snug.
I had heaps of fun with the auto vitara.
Prefer it over the manual one I own now.
Hope this helps.
