Hi ive got a 1991 suzuki vitara with power windows and cant figure out how to get the switch out of the passenger side as it dosent work can anyone help me on this? Ive already traced the problem to the switch just need to get it out to replace it do i need to remove the entire door panel?

The switch "snaps" in from the top - if you're replacing it, you can just pry it out using a broad bladed knife, something like a drywall or putty knife - this will typically damage the clips that hold the switch but not the door panel.
Out of curiosity - how can you have "traced the problem to the switch" without either removing the switch or the door panel?

Had an auto sparky i know as a mate have a look at it and he told me it was definetly the switch but has never worked on suzuki vitaras before and couldng figure it out, thanks

Mine looks different to those switches ive seen them before on other vitaras but the one i currently own is a different switch ill post photos when i can...im not hating on anything the reason i posted this in the first place was to find help because yes i dont understand which is why i asked for help in the first place

yes the switches will be slightly different, but the same theory applies.
