Looking for some roof rack cross bars or maybe one of those baskets that bolt into the original roof holes.
What do people recommend the most?? I looked at those roof baskets but there all currently out of stock.

Sort of depends on what you want to put up on the roof. The idea would be to put as little as possible up there - think awning, long handled shovel, maxtrax type recovery boards & not much else, in which case, cross bars would do it. Having said that, I have a flat 'platform' rack that I made with mounts off the original roof rail mounts - on a 1999 GV though. This is primarily as we have an Oztent RV3 which is 2.0m long. I've got some swb Grand vit rails. I just made some roof racks for a rooftop tent on my GV kept it low, added to the body roll but fuel economy hasnt suffered to much

Yeh ok so the bolt on basket seem stronger,i just cant find any instock , 90% of the time it would just be an awning up there but is would be handy to have a basket to store other things. If i cant find a bolt on roof basket i may just have to get some cross bars and buy a basket seperately

Consider the weight of the basket versus the bars, and the noise it'll make too. If there's a quick detachment option for the setup then go that direction so you don't have to have it on there all the time.
