Hi people , in need of the following lj50 parts:

Either a broken gearbox or a complete gearbox , the parts i actually require are the extension housing (this one is broken where the output seal goes) and the reverse gear shift rod (the gate is actually broken off the end of the rod)

also chasing some good condition amber and red lamp lenses .

choke cable assy . I see i can get it new from suzistore but they are showing out of stock. i will be giving them a call on a weekday to see the lead time.

complete exhaust system including mounts , minus exhaust manifold. this one has a hole in muffler (i could probably repair) and rear 1/2 of system is missing. i could probably just get a complete new system made up but trying to save him some money.

also still need drag link from steering box to crank , once again i can see i can get new from suzistore but once again showing out of stock.

Let me know if you can help , either pm me or call 0487146020 or 07 3059 0600

Dave.

If you want to swap out a whole gearbox then be aware there's 2 different bellhousing patterns. I think the LJ80 extension housing is the same but I can't say I've ever compared them, if it is you'd think the shift rail would work too.

3 screw lenses are hard to find. 2 screw lenses can be bought new from Suzuki and the orange ones are readily available after market because they came on some bikes eg GN250.

Thanks for the help. I'm pretty sure they are 2 screw. I did a Google search using the part numbers but wasnt coming up with much. Will look into it again.

The shift rod for reverse was a weird one. When trying to select reverse there was just nothing there. Pulled the engine and gearbox and pulled the selector housing off the top and the rod was broken at the selector fork. Never seen that before....
