I have some of these calmini ones that i was going to use. But the shock mounts are pushed back to suit their 5 inch lift kit. But would work if your pushing the front diff forward. But I'm not doing ether so im selling them. But im in NZImage

I had the calmini ones and they work well. It’s the plate that pushes the diff forward so all that is needed to move the diff is those plates

If you’re theoretically worried about it weld plates over the bottom of the stock u bolt plates and ensure the u bolts are trimmed short.

If you’re finding the ubolt plates a significant issue on the trail (and this is unlikely given your stated use) follow redzuki’s advice, or weld larger spring saddens to the axle and use cap head bolts up from underneath to make a flat skid.

The easiest way to prevent this being a problem is to run more rim backspacing. The cars with 2.5” BS rims are the cars that get hung up on the u bolt plates.
