(Take 2)
Hey all, been lurking around here a few weeks.
Bit of an introduction on myself. Some of you may know who I am. I worked as an apprentice at the now defunct Susuki CarBusters, now working at 4x4 Obsession.
I swapped an injected 5L for a 91 Sierra soft top, then began to make it road worthy and get rego (which hopefully getting roady tomorrow and rego Thurs morning, pushing shit uphill methinks)
So far I have rebuilt the front diff, stripped vinal and tar, painted the floor black, removed unneeded wiring from eng bay and under dash. Fitted UHF, head unit and 6x9s. Replaced leaky wheel cylinder, shoes and machined drums also replaced pedal rubbers, antenna and thats about it i think..
The list of things to do are mild for now untill I have the parts I want in my possession. So far I have a g16b with centerpoint fuel inj from my old Swift ( that made 64kw atw with o.s pistons mild reground cam and clamped fuel return hose), also from that car I have Mk3 GTi seats. Lying about there is a Vit fuel tank, gearbox and transfer, and I have got a 1Lt transfer case kicking about somewhere too.
When money and time permits, big things will happen
This is also my hunting rig as the Honda Civic cant get me to where I want to go anymore and my WRX is in sort of a bad way atm...
Anyway here are some pics of the shitter

I dont mind if its stays like this or gets thrashed. I was origionally going to get a Patrol, but the thought of spending a heap then thrashing it/ rolling it didnt fare too well, as i already have a fucked wrx sitting at home that i hav to get fixed haha

Well Ive finally done some more work to it.. Put 2" lifted EFS springs in it, Gaberiel (?) shocks, bogged and sanded the bonnet back, under coated it and will paint it black when I get time.
Also mistakenly brought an ex comp Range Rover with everything, now sits unregistered. Some bits might find their way into the Zook

Well, it looks like I might be selling my Swb.. and buying a Lwb!!! Only problem with the Lwb is it has no driveline or interior.. so Im sourcing Bundera front and rear diffs (going to go coils) have a pair of air lockers sourced (around 1k for both of them) chromo c.vs. I have a 1.6 sitting here (as well as Vitara 5 speed box, transfer case.) Also have a 1lt transfer case sitting here.
What do you all think?

Only problem with it, is it has no interior. Not like they had a whole heap to start with... The tunnel has been hacked, 4mm floors been welded in, its got a new paint job but there is a pin hole in the center of the roof... its really clean tho. I duno if I can justify sellin my swb thats nearly rego'd for a body and chassis..

Roof rack/exo..
get a trailer
don't hunt..
if you buy the lwb, do it as a side project or use all the good bit's off the swb to get it going quickly..
We don't need another buttercup..
4mm plate in the floor sound's a lil excessive to..

I would have done an exo if I was going to keep it.
Was thinking trailer.
There is no way known im not gonna hunt!!!!
It will be a side project, like the swb, ive just started taking some of the bits off the swb.
It will be a slowish build due to funds, but will be a good build up
