nah i think they are alright.... donno exactly how tick/material he used, the forum from where i got the pics is in another language so no idea but if the right material and thickness have been use, there's no need for them to bend up to destroy your body/doors just tink about the fuel tank covers for sierras, or transfer plates protections.... same principle I guess.... the fact that they are flat doesnt mean they'll bend up easily most of the Jap jimny websites have ones that mold into the body 2mm stainless steel ....... not sure in this case how does it work as its attach to the boddy, instead of transferring the hit to the chassis

The TSOR sierra sliders are body mounted. They work by distibuting the impact over the entire length of the sill, and floorpan.
Those stainless things however would at best, serve as a scratch guard. Nothing more.

nice work on the sliders! Id make some but i have a few issues. 1 my welding sucks. 2 i dont have room for a welder and three my missus would stab me in my sleep if i started another project that meant she couldnt park in the garage. hahaha
