alll good should be at latest end of next month the hole is half cut in the bottom of the boat and just have to trim the jetski hull up a bit more and it will be going in

then its just paint and wiring and trim

well ive been side tracked lately but finally back to the boat

ive got the jet ski hull in the bottom of the boat about 90% done just some fine trimming and it will be in the way i want it

should this week be getting my roll bar welded up at tafe and that will be put on aswell

and once the jet ski hull is in i can start cutting up the seat and working out my seating postion etc and my gauge postions etc b4 final sand and paint

where the jet tunnel sticks out the back ill be making a stainless steel hood flashing out of some 1.6mm i found at work just to tidy things up at the back

When I lived in Tacoma I saw one of those with two people in it speeding across the water faster than any boat I had ever seen at the time.

It was nose up, and skipping across some pretty good white caps. They looked like they were having a blast. About an hour later they came zooming by the other way. I guess the waves were like 1-3 feet and they didn't seem to have a problem with,.

In Tacoma there are a lot of small harbors that have bars, fuel etc. so it is a lot of fun to run around on the water there, stop have dinner, a beer or two, and hop to the next one

Do you happen to have an intake scoop grate on it? I have a 750 x-4 (kawasaki 2 seater jet ski) and it used to be a bit of a bastard in choppy water (didn't even need much chop) it would take ages to hook up and drop off the plane too easy because of it.

So I put a scoop grate on it (it came with a new hull I put the engine in as the old one was "leaking" long story but I think I got stooged as the mechanic had only siliconed up the broken main seal I found out after I bought the spare hull from him and was changing it all over myself...) and the scoop grate directs the water into the pump WAY better than without. The thing hooks up easily in any sort of chop, as soon as you hit the water you're off again.

I'm actually going to sell the ski because I don't use it enough. Has a slight carby issue at the moment and I can't be arsed pulling it apart and fixing it

They are tops for what they do, but don't go hooking it up onto the beach at speed or anything that's the only drawback!

well its been 2 cold here 2 do anything cause i need it at least 25 so the fiberglass etc will cure better and not get moister in the glass
