I barely have a mm to spare, if i rotate the negative terminal, it will hit a part of the bonnet its that close. really need a low profile terminal, but its working anyway at the moment. Just for future reference what is the height to the top of the terminal on the battery your using.

A little birdy tells me Scales has a large international freight item at a depot in Brisbane which should be in Townsville in the next couple of days. Make sure you post some pics of all the goodies when they arrive.

I made a basket that holds the battery, windscreen washer bottle, and accessories as one complete unit.

just a heads up on my tray guys, Had a casualty on the trip to the cape, the nut on the sidewall of the engine bay tore straight through, as well as the bracket that holds the radiator reservoir had its spot welds break away. Managed to use some cold weld as a temp (now permanent as its holding better than i thought) repair on the res bottle, but i have to make a backing plate for the side wall nut. I recommend doing the same as its only a pissant little nut.
EDIT: My permanant fix is now a 6mm bolt drilled through the water bottle holder bracket with 2 BIG panel washers on either side to distribute the load a bit. The cold weld was bugging me. should be good now.
