For those 3 pannels, cost me just under $40 for the mdf, carpet, glue and tacks |

Abit of ply does the job, clear varnish to seal it. Easy enough to rub back and redo if it gets marked. I noticed alot of people make cut outs for the bars in the side panels.. I just put a 12mm hole thru the panel and screwed it into that, seems tobe a bit neater. although that carpet looks pretty trick, good work bud!

Cheers mate! Yeah the ply looks nice too, I had that in mind too hey. And good thinking about screwing the bar work over the top of it, looks neater and would of been ALOT easier and less fidling around with getting the carpet folded around it haha. Shane |

the only problem with ply is that when you stick the truck on its side and stove the door in, the ply will splinter inward ...... |

If you're just going to tech screw it on why not use coreflute? |

coreflute is the future, waterproof, lightweight & there is plenty of it floating around at the moment with the elections on.... |
