Ripped out the old rusty battery tray and fabbed a new one out of stainless.

knock up a similar one for the other side and you have dual batteries sorted |

On your next one push the drain hole further in towards the centre of the car, add a bit of pipe then attach some hose and direct it onto the ground. If you're going to drain acid may as well get it away from anything ferrous |
