drum was widened by 76mm and the diameter shrunk by 25 mm ![]() all together with bracing, drum and brake shaft capped ![]() in cab free spool set up ![]() custom hawse fair lead for strength and the extra width ![]() ![]() spooled with 60 meters of 10mm rope

Why shrink the diameter of the shaft? You loss heaps of available torque |

Actually more torque less speed but it's done to let me hold more rope. So it's only if I get down to my last wrap that I'll notice it as with one wrap of rope it's pretty much standard size. So unless I got more the 55m of rope out I'll never notice it |
