I found a use for the old NT 1.3 diff housings and axles!!!

Just cut the bearing housing off the end of the axle housing, and indexed it into some 75 x 5 SHS. Then the old axle is docked just past the bearing retainer, and dropped into the end.

More pics tomorrow.

The post drops onto a 65x5SHS spigot in the bottom of the hole in the middle of the floor.

if you plan on using the bolt holes in the bearing housing's flange at any time, it might be a good idea to turn it 45 degrees before you weld it in place.

Nope. Already welded up. I just need to add a locking pin from the base to the table top to stop it rotating once in position.
