That's how the one on mine has been mounted, as apposed to how yours has been mounted.

It was fitted to the car when I bought it so I can't really say if it helps or not.
Ask Zookernator(Liam), he bought it off me and fitted it to his car in Tassie.

I fitted powersteering and don't run a damper at all.... Much better. :D :D

thats confusing becasue coilies don't have the mount on the chassis that the older ones do, did you make a bracket that goes there, i don't like where mine is seems restrictive

and as far as legality, there is lots of rules in regards to padestrians and stuff, just don't make it sticky outy or sharp or pointy and see how you go , lol

It was there when i got it, but it is just set up like a leafy. Has a bracket welded off the back of the front crossmember and a bracket on the pitman arm.

As for barwork, i know mine doesn't have a coily body on it, but i still think for neatness wise, the full bar type just looks better if you can make one.

If you can't I think either the first or second design on the front. Then use some flat metal a few mm thick to fill in the gaps and smoothed out and the corner sections angled back slightly

Made me wanna start playing :p

I started playing around and getting the feel for what I like, Turns out to be the last one I did when I had a go at doing at the full size type one. Sorta looks abit like stevesss :p

They are just proto types I guess you could say.. All of them drawn up/ design on the go with no prior thought.

Not at all serious designs by any means.. Just like to play in cad now and then :) But I wouldn't mind something like the last one :D

Here's a few screens of what I was playing with, there were many different changes, combination's and stuff I was playing with.

Hey Acc1,
2nd from left looks OK but top bar looks weird. Lower it a bit so you can see the bonnet gap and that'd be sweet.

Get rid of the COW catcher on the bottom OK for HWY not Bush that is just gunna hinder your aproach. Have it so that if you hit a a mound or anything you are climbing it helps you slide up and over it.

Mine is setup so I can nudge up to a object and it will lift the front and then then rest is up to the driver wether it goes under the centre of the car ( I have Bash plates through the centre) or let the sliders take the weight.

Also make sure you strengthen the sides as quite oftern you will clip these edges on aproach. JMO

Tube bars are relatively cheap and easy to make.
