Nice. I've been meaning to rig up something similar for a long time- but never got around to it. PS: Be careful if using them with the engine running. I've got some 5050 LED strip light and it didn't last long when running at around ~14V (charging voltage) on a home solar system. They're usually rated for 12V. |

Yeah just running off the 2nd battery which isnt charging 90% of the time. will predominately be used with engine off |
