I would be a bit concerned about the "flapping" in a LWB... How much longer are they than a SWB ???? It may need some sort of side frame to support it.. That wouldn't be that difficult to make and the sides could clip onto the frame... |

Hmmmm ...Is this an original lwb soft top . If so I can see the center bar.. If they have roll up sides and roll up rear window, there would not be much point in destroying one to make a Bimini top as it is almost one already but with the advantage of dropping the sides etc if the rain started.. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=lwb+ ... 3jYDg15g2M: |

Ah righto!! I thought you were making them from scratch rather than dissecting a softy for it.. But either way if you had one that deserved a good dissection then the LWB bars would keep it Mickey Mouse or flapless |

Yes..Sorry, I am not making them from scratch.. I am simply turning old or faulty roofs into modified roofs..As long as it is in reasonable condition, it could easily turn into a Bimini however without a LWB Sierra to test fit it onto it may be a bit tricky. The one i just Moded was on and off the car 3 times.. One to do some chalk markings, the second to see how it was and if it needed any strengthening and a final fitting to make sure I was happy with it.. |

Compared to the daggy top I gave you missing the rear window, I'm stoked with the result! Thanks again mate |
