This is my attempt at making an anti wrap bar for my Zook.
I used two lower control arms from a Nissan Patrol and cut one to weld to the other. The plates were cut to fit the diff and weld to it. I will be fitting this when my new spring perches arrive from Locktup. I have some more fabrication ahead to fit the bar to the crossmember and also make a slide and twist connection in the bar. I will upgrade this post as I progress. |

looks good but you will have to make more brackets to spread the load on the diff. it will break if you just weld on like that. |

you need some ting to let the diff move in a ark. it doesn't move straight up and down, it has a ark in the travel |

I will be putting a slip & twist section in it. There is still a lot to do to it. |

check out joeblows anti wrap bar on Kenn's blue LJ. He only has a standard bush on the chassis end. WHen you think about it a standard/modified diff/suspension setup if wrap bar mounted in centre of diff isn't really going to rotate much more than 15-20 degrees which a standard nissan bush shouldn't have too many issues with. If you are getting more than that out of standard leaves then you are doing well especially with zook diffs. Looks good munster...interested to see your chassis setup. |

My question is should the wrap bar be positioned horizontally in the centre of the diff, my feeling is that it should to allow for flexing from side to side? |

I've finished my bar finally -
So far on the road it works great, no axle wrap, but in the bush will be the ultimate test. |

Had a drive last Sunday, the bar worked great and I am very pleased with the result. Absolutely no axle wrap. |
