With the Hot weather and all I decided to check out why the air flow from my fan was a tad weak..

I looked at the Stock cabin filter and it was hideous..
Problem was it was chock full of leaves and dust that had been in there probably since the vehicle was made..
I went everywhere I could to find a replacement... Couldn't get one any where..

The XL-7 Cabin filter is in two seperate parts so you can pull it out once you have unclipped the retainer behind the glove box..
It has an upper and a lower filter but to be honest... they look the same shape.. just one is labled upper and lower..

I looked online and the only place I could find one from was from America... That wont do.. I need the air-con operating NOW...

So I took my Filters out and went to my local Pro Parts place and they found me a Replacement filter .... From a Hyundai Tucson.... that is the same dimensions !
The Filter that fits is Wesfil WACF0046..

Much to my surprise they fitted in perfectly.. they don't make any noise when the fan is on full and are Carbon active... Which apparently the stock ones are not...

Sure they are not perfect... but they are heaps better then having clogged filters !

I should mention that mine is the Twin Plate Vertical Cabin filter and not the LARGE flat mount..
Some one willing to do a bit of Test and see might be able to use the RCA195P filter..but I cannot say for sure that it will fit....

Apparently the Hyundai Model is supposed to be 2004 onwards 2.0Litre petrol..
