hey, does anyone know if anything other than an lj80/81 radiator will fit an lj81, i'm having a bit of trouble trying to find one that says it will fit an 81.

For my LJ80v (same thing) I bought a whole new 1l sierra radiator and got them to swap the straps from the LJ radiator onto it. Other than the side straps they're identical. It worked out cheaper than getting the LJ radiator recored. About $190 iirc.

My LJ81 has a Corolla radiator in it, I don't know what sort of Corolla it came from though.

thanks for the reply. on ebay a 1l radiator is $95 but I might head around to some local wreckers and see what they have. I haven't even got my sierra yet but my uncles giving it too me for free it's going to be sort of an ongoing project as it needs a few things and i'm 14 and no job so it will take awhile.

Ok you have confused me, are you getting an LJ or a Sierra

I have a lj81 tray top ute and radiator needs replacing i have several sierra radiators and wonder if anybody has done this swap
